That pattern isn’t decorative.

The signature detail

The cover says what your face is thinking.

The pattern is Morse code. Every column repeats one phrase, top to bottom, in gold. From a shelf it reads as elegant texture. Up close it reads as something considerably less polite. Seven to choose from — you pick which one is yours, and only you know what it says.

Your cover, in gold

“go f*ck yourself”

Em Dash — emerald. The namesake.

Two Whom It May Concern

the letters you’ll never send. probably.

Everyone told you to let it go. As if you hadn’t tried. As if it were a balloon and not a whole conversation you’ve had a thousand times — in the shower, in the car, at 2am, with a person who isn’t in the room. Send it nowhere. Say it anyway.

Never Two Much

Same mission, different voice. No exes, no grudges, no profanity — friendship, perfectionism, comparison, and the gap between who you are online and who you are at 11pm. The hidden message on every teen cover is the house signature: i am enough.

The secret
Always i am enough — the one phrase that doesn’t change. It’s the tender one, and it’s the line the whole brand is built on.
The back cover
“the cover keeps what you’re not ready to say” → you were never too much.
Built with guardrails
Prompts point toward a trusted adult or a helpline where a page might need it. This one is designed to be given by a mom and kept by a daughter.

The teen cover, in its shade

“i am enough”

Sage-Mint — the teen lead.

Inside the book

Every entry, you pick who you are today.

The covers are polished. The insides are unhinged. Two prompts, two moods, your choice — the same page holds both versions of you.

Prompts are set lowercase throughout — it reads as a quiet inner voice, not a worksheet. Big prompts get two or three spreads; quick ones get one. Plain ruled pages in the back for when one spread was never going to be enough.

Why Em+Lo exists

I made this because I needed it.

I spent a long time being the composed one. The one who held it together, who was fine, who didn’t make it weird. And somewhere in all that composure I noticed something: women are allowed to feel almost anything, as long as we feel it quietly. Be sad, but not for too long. Be angry, but not out loud. Be grateful, always, on command, no matter what it costs.

We are told, in a hundred small ways, that our feelings are too much — too intense, too dramatic, too inconvenient. So we get good at swallowing them. We become experts at I’m fine.

Em+Lo is the opposite of I’m fine.

It’s named for my two nieces — one quiet and composed, one all glitter and volume — because every woman I know is both. The one who speaks with her face, and the one who speaks with her words. This is a place for both of you.

The prompts are sometimes sweet and sometimes savage, because real life is both. You choose which version of you shows up on any given page. Some days you’ll want to count your blessings. Some days you’ll want to itemize your grudges. Both are allowed here. That’s the whole point.

Beautiful enough to leave out. Honest enough to fill in.

Say the true thing. This is where it goes.

You were never too much. You were just never given the page.
